A seam is the visible boundary between faster and slower water. Fish often hold on the slow side where they conserve energy while watching food drift past.
Work Current Breaks
Boulders, bridge pilings, points, and submerged wood create soft water. Cast upstream and let the presentation enter the strike zone naturally.
Change Angles
One cast rarely proves a spot is empty. Adjust distance and angle so the lure crosses the break at different depths.
