Have a championship tournament there at the end of September. Lake goes off limits first of September. I’ve never been there and could sure use a little help for late summer info. My plan right now is to go there late August just to check things out. Have been unable to find much info on the world wide web. I love to fish hydrilla and was told there is some but read on one site where there is none. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The grass probably took a bit of a hit with this flood that came through last week. Should settle in after a couple of weeks. I haven’t been out there since the spring. Lots of offshore places to fish. Big rocks, lots of docks! And watch out for the wave boats and jet fleas…they’re horrible on that lake!

I was afraid of that.. Most of the tournament will be during the week so maybe they will be back in school by then. What would be a good worm color to start with ? Thanks Mike
Watermelon Red Baby brush hog is a good color to try. Valentine Lakeside is great place to stay. Best Mexican food Alfredo’s, best breakfast tacos El Bracero. All in my opinion good luck!
