Does anyone here have any experience fishing Lake Michigan? Did you hire a fishing guide? Where did you stay? What time of year did you go?
Be safe, Rayzor

There are several guides working out of Traverse City for bass fishing. The bay above Traverse City offers better protection from winds for trips that have to be booked ahead of time. When my wife and I fished there 4 years ago, we both caught smallmouth over 5 pounds the same day. There are lots of wineries on the pennisula above Traverse City and the downtown area has great restaurants. Have fun, just Google “Traverse City Smallmouth Bass Guides”, they do book up almost a year in advance, so good luck.
