Kicks off conference play today. Texas has 4 teams ranked in the top 10 in the nation.
#1 Weatherford
#4 Blinn
#5 McLennan
#10 Midland

That Blinn athletic department has certainly done well over the years.
They seem to be always winning a NJCAA national championship in something.

Temple College got a split with both Blinn and Midland in Feb. (non conference games) They open today & Sat. against McLennan then take on #1 Weatherford next week. Can’t get a much tougher start to the season than that.
