Was wanting to get a new graph. I was looking at the the new Eagle Eye by lowrance as it has their version of live view. Any thoughts on this. My old graph is a hummingbird helix 5.

It will be better than the Helix 5….but, if you’re wanting FFS….this entry level stuff is just gonna piss you off. It isn’t in the same realm as the AT2 (or even older AT1)

What’s so much better about the AT2 Steez? Did you have the AT1 to start with? Details please! Thanks!!

Yes. I had AT1 the day it was launched. I thought it was good. I didn’t know better until I smashed the transducer on a rock. Then it was time to upgrade. I bought the AT2 from RMP. The difference instantly recognizable and night and day better. The distance is better, as well as target separation. I didn’t realize that trees had branches. Hahah. The detail is much better on AT2. The AT1 shows blurry vertical looking streaks for fish, the AT2 shows FISH. Tails wiggling and all. The biggest improvement though, IMO, is the distance. The AT1 was useless beyond 30 ft. The AT2 is crystal clear beyond my ability to accurately cast a lure.

Hmmmm I’m still using my AT1 ……..I can see the tree branches,I see fish tails wagging and all well beyond 30′,usually run mine 70-80′.Sounds like you may have had some installation or settings issues.
The Eagle Eye I have not used but after several reports it appears to be entry level………which might not be bad place to start for people, especially those that can’t see beyond 30′ with an AT1
